Endurance Exercise can make you younger (or your heart at least)

Older people who undertake endurance training end up with a much younger heart according to a study conducted at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Presumably this would be true for anyone else who did the same.

It has long been known that exercise that is taken over a prolonged period has a much greater beneficial effect over short periods of exercise but this study seems to confirm it.

If you are looking for a good reason to exercise then this must be a good one.

The exercise they undertook consisted of walking, running or cycling exercises three to five days a week for about an hour per session.
