Make excellence a habit

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
Aristotle
Isn’t it amazing that often the wisdom we are searching for has actually been around for thousands of years.
What Aristotle is very ably pointing out is that when we do something often enough it becomes a habit for us. We can have good habits or bad habits.
Friends and partners etc take note that not all habits are bad ones – try thinking about some of the good habits you benefit from and perhaps the bad habits of others might not seem so annoying.
Anyway a good habit to get in to is the habit of excellence. The more you try to be excellent the more excellence will become a habit and when it is a habit you will find that the excellent things you do get noticed by others.
So from this day on promise yourself that you are no longer going to let yourself get away with average but instead you are going to aim for excellence.
